Quoting an RFQ

There are several ways to quote an RFQ. You can download the RFQ to Excel to quote it, batch quote all the line items in the RFQ, or quote individual quote lines in the RFQ. These instructions review each of these methods.

NOTE: If you cannot quote right away, click in the My Status field for the RFQ on the RFQ List Screen to record whether you plan to quote, or will not quote. This will send notification back to Parker about your intentions. You can then complete the actual bid later.

IMPORTANT:

  • You must have a Supplier Qualification Survey and Non-Disclosure Agreement on file before you can quote an RFQ.

  • You do not need a Conflict Minerals document on file to quote an RFQ, but you must have one on file before it can be awarded to you.

  • You must select the Bid Currency (if active) for the RFQ. The quoted currency is converted into the RFQ currency based on the monthly Parker spot rate.
